Is this confidential?
- Yes. Confidentiality is extremely serious, and all files, communication, and contacts are kept secure.
How did you become licensed?
- The State of California requires that in order to become licensed one must pass criminal background checks by both the DOJ and FBI, have 6,000 hours of compensated experience in investigative work; or a law or police science degree and 4,000 hours of compensated experience in investigative work. Then pass a rigorous examination covering laws and regulations, civil and criminal liability, evidence handling, undercover investigations, and surveillance.
Diane is hard-working and has a knack for getting people to talk to her. In one of my cases, a witness had escaped from the authorities and crossed state lines. Diane found the witness by following the trail, one person at a time. When she reached the end of the road, she brought back information that changed the outcome of the case. On another occasion, I was managing a stack of my cases, all of which were supposed to be sent out for trial at once. I was able to work through each case one at a time, and stay focused in court, because Diane wrangled witnesses and kept everybody on track.
-----William Safford, Attorney at Law
"I have always believed in the need for growth. You can be great at something, but not love doing it. While working in medicine for 10 years, I was happy to help others, but decidedly bored. Solution? Go get another degree. With 9 years of college behind me, I have put in the work to accomplish my goals, but still consider myself truly lucky to have found a career that makes me excited every day. Even so, I would gladly take on another 9 years of college. My goal: To be more than I am."
